Upon completion of F.5 or F.6
International Foundation courses enable students to progress to a wide range of undergraduate degrees at most UK universities. These courses are offered at government colleges, tutorial colleges or international study centres on university campuses. They provide a solid grounding for degree study and teach the study skills and English that students will need as undergraduates. Students take modules related to the subject they wish to study at university, (e.g. Business, Law, Social Sciences, Science, Media, Engineering, etc.), together with English, Mathematics, ICT and Study Skills.
University Foundation courses are suitable for those students who wish to join a higher ranked UK university than their HKDSE grades allow or for those who cannot gain the IELTS 6.5 for direct entry to most UK universities.
